Black Tears

My building is bleeding black tears
Rain and pigments litter the ground
It’s a mirror of my life
Nature can’t fight progress for me
It loses many battles yet not the war

Pillars collapse confidence shatters
Hypocritical attacks
Empty rooms
Noise and destruction
Alone in a world of change

A Soul’s own belief in tatters
Excitement has turned to dread
Facebook platitudes abound
Oblivious to the real world
Social media’s invasive virus
Everyone’s so clever
Yet few are wise

Midnight Rose

A dark gem roaming the fray
Raven hair, raven eyes
An unknown midnight flower
Though a crystal ball might say
A rose born of the Empires finest queen

She knows miasmas worst disciple
No, now she knows
Confidence overflowing his boxers
Then under Stiletto mistletoe
A fleeting gust of courage
Unexpected fortune
Though spending is elusive treasure

Safe silent Assumptions
Complicated Confusion
It’s a modern woman’s time
Yet old world ways
No Alpha, Try Beta
Bright neon signs even

Quality time wasted
A Sunday lost away
Though she had to stay
So love heart Eyes
Messages sweet and dry
Love heart eyes

Social Nothworking

A Childs playground
A tantrums muse
Age is no barrier
Drink your milk and spray it
Until your nose bleeds with white poison
We all feel it, it drips in silence

Delete, delete, delete
Strip it bare, they don’t care
Pretty pictures is all you are
Fading
Lost your bend, lost your soul
Lost your straight, lost it all

The pendulum swings incessantly
Identity perpetual motion
Without rest there is no peace
Without peace there is no soul
The waters withdraw
It’s the ebbing tide
It’s nature after all

The Paint Never Dries

Dead yet still breathing
Sleepy hollowed, no thought a relief
Pressed to the corner
The paint cold on my toes

Just sit and tired
Tired of that you enjoyed
Now just motions of expectation
Escapes not working
Tired of them too
Are you ok robot
Ok, ok, ok

Sleep Well

There's a tunnel, dripping distant light
Though, is it bright
Light, a promise of broken night
Though, is it bright
Fear is dreamscapes muse
sleeps Moriarty
How bright is the light?

A Precious Dawn

An Emerald Jewel in a sea of black
Prodomme they say
Hello again, different this time
The assumptions we all follow!

A wrong room number
He Wont return
Like a focus of the soul
Not likely! There's truth here

Crystal slippers from heaven and hell
Cute pixie feet so tired
A black Nemesis traps us together
Shame she left...

Silver curtain slash, Dawn
Our time is over, it hasn't begun
Pouty lips frown, so cute
They taste of palm tree sunshine

All boxes ticked but one
Mind says to far to hard
Heart says write poems
Minds are dumb anyway...

Maisonneuve Rain

A sleepy beachfront paradise
It’s the dark side of the moon
Signals lost until an Empire’s rise
Unless seen it’s not heard
No touch in stay, it’s the modern way
The shine has gone
A passion replaced
Though an arms length on Dracula’s couch
Just a gentle touch, yet a thousand miles away
Glass walled separation in my mind
I thought of lips many times
Sunday sunset’s cosy comforts away
Empty space, Shiraz and malaise

It’s me, it always is
A mature disease in fear of everything
Contentment paradox in a world of alone
A host of sadness in crowded smiles
Cure’s needle is the invisible haystack
Engulfed in the swirling maelstrom
On a melting island of ice
I’m blind to the peaceful sea
